Vilken vecka vi har haft! Under tisdagen var Sala den varmaste staden i hela Sverige och det märkte vi allt kan jag säga! Att vara uta och fota i denna värme har varit en utmaning, men som tur var har vi bara fotat saker som klarar värmen bra. Nu är andra kapitlet klart till min nya bok och allt käns riktigt bra.
Igår kväll bakade jag två tårtor till min granne som skulle ha kalas idag. Hade jag inte haft fotograferingen av boken den här veckan hade jag nog gjort lite roligare tårtor, men nu fick jag ta av vad som fanns hemma.
Att lägga frysta bär direkt på grädden brukar inte vara någon hit då de färgar så lätt. Därför dekorerade jag tårtan med choklad och rosblad istället. Chokladen fick ligga en stund i kylskåpet innan den gick att hyvla med potatisskalaren. Allt blir verkligen påverkat av denna värme!
Jag måste erkänna att jag inte är någon mästare på att dela tårtbottnar, speciellt inte om de är helt nybakade. Då smular det ofta som bara tusan och det kan vara riktigt klurigt att få till tre fina lager. Därför gjorde jag det enkelt för mig denna gång. Det blev bara två bottnar i varje tårta.
Jag passade på att använda mig av lite saker som blev över efter fotograferingen så fyllningen i tårtorna blev drottningsylt och dulce de lechegrädde vilket var en riktigt lyckad kombination. Har man inte en färdig burk dulce de leche hemma går det nog lika bra att smaksätta grädden med kolasås.
1 anlsag (tårtbotten)
3 ägg
2 dl strösocker
2 tsk bakpulver
2 1/2 dl vetemjöl
1/2 dl hett vatten
Vispa ägg och socker vitt och pösigt. Tillsätt bakpulver och vetemjöl, rör tills smeten är klumpfri. Ha sist i det varma vattnet. Rör till en jämn smet och ha upp i en springform. Grädda i 180 grader i ca 30 minuter eller tills den är helt klar. Låt svalna och dela den sedan i två bottnar.
Fyllning:
3 dl drottningsylt (eller rårörda hallon och blåbär)
3 dl grädde
1 dl dulce de leche
Klä springformen med plastfolie så det hänger ut ca 10 cm runt om kanten. Lägg en av bottnarna i springformen. Bred sylten över. Vispa grädden och blanda i dulce de leche mot slutet. Det får gärna vara lite klumpar av kolan i grädden, det blir bara gott. Bred detta över sylten och lägg på den sista botten. Vik över plastfolien så det täcker hela tårtan. Låt stå kallt över natten.
Dekoration:
4 dl grädde
50 g choklad
25 g vit choklad
rosenblad
Vispa grädden, inte alltför hårt. Blir den lite grynig är den inte så fin att dekorera tårtan med.
Bred grädden över och runt tårtan i ett jämnt lager, spar ca 1 1/2 dl som du sedan spritsar runt om kanten.
Hyvla chokladen med en potatisskalare och strö den över tårtan. Dekorera med fina rosblad.
En enkel tårta som du kan baka och bjuda på nu när fruntimmersveckan står för dörren. Min lillasyster lyckas ha namnsdag inte mindre än två gånger den kommande veckan. Här är alla vackra namn att fira:

Älskar att göra tårta! Vi har en superbra kniv som man kan använda till att dela bottnarna med. Egentligen är den nog till för att skiva t.ex. fisk, men jag brukar använda den till att göra tunna tunna äppelskivor eller att dela tårtbottnar med. Men roligaste jobbet är ju ändå att dekorera tårtan!
Det är klart jag har namnsdag i fruntimmersveckan…Det blir förstås en tårta med nyplockade hallon på,om inte Dumle har hunnit till hallonsnåren före mig vill säga,han bara älskar hallon!!

Smidigt tips för att dela tårtbottnar: ta en sytråd, lägg den runt kakan i lagom höjd, dra sedan ändarna på tråden "omlott" genom kakan (svårt att beskriva, men man lägger liksom tråden hela vägen runt kakan och istället för att knyta ihop ändarna så så drar man dem, korsade, åt varsitt håll… då går tråden genom kakan och skär perfekta bottnar). Är så mycket enklare än att skära med kniv, särskilt om man ska ha tre bottnar. Det enda problemet kan vara om skorpan på kakan är lite för hård, då kan tråden gå av men man får "förskära" lite med kniv i så fall.

Kan tipsa om att receptet på tårtbotten som står på baksidan av potatismjölspaketen är toppen, speciellt om man bakar den i en form med krage. Luftig, hög och saftig men ändå stabil och rätt lätt att dela (men jag använder en tårtdelare från ikea som funkar bra).
Vill man göra den glutenfri är det bara att baka den på enbart potatismjöl. Funkar finfint att dubblera/halvera och sånt också. Älskar det här receptet.
5ägg och
3dl strösocker vispas vitt och pösigt sen vänder man i
1,5dl potatismjöl
1,5dl vetemjöl
3tsk bakpulver
Jag brukar ha i 2-3 tsk vaniljsocker eller lite vaniljstångspulver också.
Grädda i en smord form på ca 20-23cm i diameter med krage i 175 grader ca 40 min. När den inte dallrar om man puttar på formen är den klar, men man kan ju använda provsticka också.
Byt ut 0,5 dl av varje mjölsort mot kakao (1dl alltså) för chokladbotten.
Om någon undrar vad krage är så sätter man en remsa av bakplåtspapper runt insidan av kanten på den smorda formen. Pappret ska sticka upp några cm över kanten. Jag brukar smörja insidan av pappret med. Sen kan man ströa formen om man vill.
