Så var midsommarhelgen strax till ända, men vilken helg det har varit! Mat i massor, otroligt trevligt sällskap och en söndag full av sol! Bättre än så här kan man inte ha det!
Till midsommaraftonskvällen hade jag bakat en marängtårta som blev en riktigt lyckad historia. Fyllningen bestod av jordgubbar och vitchokladmousse och den fick tummen upp av alla gäster.
Ni glömmer väl inte bort att tävla i helgens tävling?
Till midsommartårtan behöver du:
2 marängbottnar
1 sats vitchokladmouse
500 g frysta jordgubbar
ca 1 L färska jordgubbar
Lägg en av marängbottnarna på ett fat, mosa de tinade jordgubbarna och bred de över botten. Spritsa ut hälften av chokladmoussen över jordgubbarna. Lägg på den andra marängbotten och spritsa ut den sista chokladmoussen. Dekorera med färska jordgubbar och gärna lite blommor.
Marängbottnar 2 st:
6 st äggvitor
3 dl socker
Vispa äggvitor och socker till en fast maräng. Rita en cirkel på ett bakplåtspapper (för att få en rund och fin botten). Fyll en stor sprittspåse med marängen och spritsa ut efter cirkeln du ritat. Gör samma sak med resterande marängkräm.
Grädda i ca 100 grader i ca 1,5 timmar. Jag stängde sedan av ugnen och lät marämgbottnarna stå kvar över natten.
Vitchokladmousse:
200 g vit choklad
2 äggulor
3 dl grädde
Vispa grädden. Smält chokladen, antingen i vattenbad eller i micron. Låt chokladen svalna något, den får inte vara för varm. Vispa äggen lätt och rör i en klick av den smälta chokladen, rör tills det blir slätt och glansigt. Upprepa detta tills all choklad är blandat med äggen. Vänd ner detta i grädden och vispa tills allt är ihopblandat. Låt stå kallt ett par timmar.
