Trotts att det faktiskt snart är december och vintern står på lur bakom dörren bjuder jag idag på ett glassrecept. Och inte vilket recept som helst, mina damer och herrar låt mig här presentera krämig vaniljglass med dulche de leche. Är du som jag en riktig gottegris och svag för sånt som är riktigt sött? Då garanterar jag att du älskar detta.
Basen till den här glassen är den numera legendariskt enkla och goda varianten med grädde och kondenserad mjölk som du inte behöver ha någon glassmaskin för att göra. För att få till kolasåsen i glassen kan du ta den enkla vägen eller den jätteenkla vägen. Välj själv vad som passar dig för dagen.
Glassen räcker till hur många som helst och blir ganska mäktig, speciellt om du serverar den efter maten.
Glass utan maskin,
7 dl vispgrädde
1 burk sötad kondenserad mjölk
2 krm äkta vaniljpulver
Vispa grädden tills mjuka toppar bildas, ha i vaniljen, vänd ner den kondenserade mjölken. Blanda väl.
Dulche de leche:
Lägg en burk sötad kondenserad mjölk i en kastrull (tag bort allt papper på burken och se till att den är hel). Fyll på med vatten i kastrullen och lägg på ett lock. Koka upp och låt sedan koka i 3-4 timmar. Se till att burken hela tiden är täckt med vatten. När du väl har öppnat burken går det inte att fortsätta att koka den. Jag gillar när kolakrämen är djupt gyllene och riktigt tjock. Det får du när den kondenserade mjölken får koka länge.
Späd kolakrämen med lite mjölk tills du får önskad konsistens.
Ha upp glassen i en form. Ringla i kolasåsen och blanda lite halvnoga. Blir det någon klump här eller där gör det inget.
Frys in i minst 6 timmar. Tag ut glassen i god tid, ca 20 minuter innan den skall serveras. Då blir den som godast!
Ja, det var den enkla varianten. Om du nu inte har två burkar kondenserad mjölk hemma, eller helt enkelt inte orkar vänta över 3 timmar på att få till en kolasås. Då kan du helt enkelt hugga fösta bästa tub med kolasås i mataffären och ringla i den i glassen.

Åh, vad gott det låter. För ca ett år sedan hittade jag ditt recept på den här glassen, vi har gjort den flera gånger och den har spridit sig bland släkt och vänner.
Funderade lite på det där med grädden. I det gamla receptet är det 5dl grädde till en burk kondenserad mjölk, men här har du 7dl. Vad gör det för skillnad? Lite mindre sött antar jag, påverkas konsistensen? Andra för-/nackdelar?
Ohoj vad gottit det ser ut! Polkaglass är min bästa glass! När jag var liten gjorde jag ofta egen. Minns hur jag fyllde en plastpåse med polkagrisar som jag sen hamrade sönder. Det var roligast. Var länge sen jag gjorde den glassen nu.

Ser gott ut men ännu enklare blir det om man köper en burk med färdig karamelliserad mjölk, dvs dulce de leche! 🙂 Det är samma företag som producerar den kondenserade mjölken som nu också börjat sälja kondenserad mjölk som redan är kokad och färdig! Länkar en bild på burken:
